Cloutie Tree Near Madron Holy Well.
This tree is alongside the path to Madron Chapel and close to Madron Well itself is hung with clouties (pieces of rags and clothing) which is a traditional custom originally carried out to ask the spirits of the well to cure illnesses and injuries.
