Millook Haven Cliffs With Rock Folds

The cliffs at Millook Haven in north Cornwall have very striking folded rock formations. Their zig-zag recumbent folds form unusual chevrons. The metamorphic sedimentary rock of the cliffs is known as Killas and the folds were caused by the intrusion of granite.
