Common Earthball In Sunlight With Wood Ants
The leathery, textured and networked surface of a Common Earthball, complete with Wood Ants crawling across its surface. Bathed in warm autumn sunlight, this fungus was found near one of the vast Wood Ant nests at Burnham Beeches Woods, Buckinghamshire.
